I am running WinXP Home and Office 2003 on a Dell Inspiron 5100 with 1gig of
ram. All my events have changed, all by themselves, to appointments that
span a 24 hour period. Why did my calendar do this and what can I do to
keep this from happening again. I had the same problem with Outlook 2000.
That is why I upgraded to Office 2003. It takes a long time to change
everything back to the way it was before this happened.

Thanks, Carole

Have you been changing the Windows System time or changing the Daylight
Savings Time settings in Windows Time?

Yes, I changed from Eastern time to central time. We also have had a time
change from standard to daylight, but my canendar was fine then.
Carole

Change your time back to Eastern time. Export your calendar to Excel.
Change your system time to Central and then reimport the items back into
Outlook.

The Daylight Savings Time setting should be automatic and not be an issue if
you have it set correctly under Control Panel and also Outlook
Tools->Options->Preferences->Calendar.
