Help boxes open unasked - how to stop this

In all programmes the help windows open without me wanting it. It pushes on
top weather or not I am working . how do I stop this please

Check if your F1 key is stuck or held down when you open the programs.

The F1 key is the default key for 'Help' in most/all Windows-based
programs.
