Help, Bizarre Issue

I have run into a real bizarre issue with Powerpoint 2003. When attempting a print screen and pasting it into a slide, the object holder will show up, but no picture is displayed. Even I paste the same print screen buffer into any other MS program, it shows with no issue. I have not been able to figure out why the image will not show up in power point. No errors come up with this either, any help would be appreciated.
