this dumb old man is going to try and explain what my
problem is.

well when i open help and support center and click
something in the right pane like (example: open disk
cleanup , or related topics) it does not open but a
little notepad with pencil icon pops up each time i click.

hope someone can understand what i am trying to say.

help me if you can

but when i try to install it i get: got to have internet
explorer 6.0 service pack 1 to install.

well i got internet 6.0 service pack 1 (put it in
again to make sure). am i doing something wrong?

but when i try to install it i get: got to have internet
explorer 6.0 service pack 1 to install.

well i got internet 6.0 service pack 1 (put it in
again to make sure). am i doing something wrong?

the Alternate CLSID {41B23C28-488E-4E5C-ACE2-BB0BBABE99E8}

Try this:
Click Start/Run and type "regsvr32 hhctrl.ocx"
Re-open Help and Support and see if the problem persist. BTW, is the Index
column is also blank ?

i have a program call the ultimate trouble shooter ,
having a lot of trouble with it , and i think i got it
down to installing critical update 810847 and
813951.exe. well when i try to install them i get : got
to have internet explorer 6.0 service pack 1 installed
first. i thought i had that right?

Your system already has a later version/patch installed.

Q813489 - MS03-015: April, 2003, Cumulative Patch for Internet Explorer
supersedes Q810847:

So, you don't need to install Q810847 again.

For the other question about Q813951, are you experiencing the symptoms
explained here http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=813951? If so try method 2
in that site.
