help and support

I can t start help and support from start menu or anywhere else. Once I click
shortcut there's brief activity then nothing.I recently installed visual
studio standard 2008.I'm running xp home sp3.Please help or steer me in the
right direction.

Does it work if you uninstall VS 2008?

Try the below from:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_h.htm

*Note the space after helpctr.*
Go to Start/Run and type in: helpctr -regserver

If that fails go to the lin provided and scroll down to "Help and
Support". You may want to read through all of the suggestions under "Help
and Support" first before attempting anything, it's somewhat extensive and
some suggestions may require an XP installation disk.
