I saw this question and your answer and I seem to have the same problem. So I copied and pasted as you suggested: however, aftert I hit "OK", I get the message that "DIIUnregisterServer in hhctrl.ocx succeeded" which is different from what I expected. What can I do from this point?

First, you're typing it incorrectly.
[[Learning how to "copy and paste" text on a computer screen can save you
many hours of typing.]]
It also avoids typos. Here's a tutorial on...
How to "Copy & Paste" Text on a Computer Screen
http://www.ilrg.com/forms/copyandpaste.html
Try this:
Copy: helpctr -regserver
Start | Run | Paste this in the box:
helpctr -regserver
Click OK
Then.........
Copy this:
regsvr32 /u hhctrl.ocx
Start | Run | Type: cmd | OK |
A command prompt window should open. A window with a black
back ground and white text.
Right click | regsvr32 /u hhctrl.ocx should appear | Hit your ENTER key.
If regsvr32 /u hhctrl.ocx does not appear. Right click the top border of
the command prompt window | Point to: Edit | Click: Paste | Now
regsvr32 /u hhctrl.ocx should appear | Hit your ENTER key.
Close the command prompt (click the [X])
To reinstall Help and Support: Go to C:\Windows\inf\pchealth.inf. Right
click and choose install. Have your CD handy.
Note: The folder is hidden by default. Go to Start/Run and type in: control
folders. View: Show hidden files and folders and uncheck Hide extensions for
known file types.
