Help and Support Program/MSN Desktop Games

Two questions:

When I try to open the "Help and Support" Program from
the start menu, nothing happens. It's as if the program
is missing. Does anyone know how to restore it?

Secondly, we use the desktop version of internet hearts,
spades, etc., with MSN. All of a sudden we cannot
connect. I don't believe it's a problem with MSN because
it hasn't been working for days. I'm thinking it might
be a problem with our internet settings somewhere. Any
suggestions on where to start?

Thank you very much for your time.

For the problem with Help & Support, check out Kelly's excellent site
here:

http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/top10faqs.htm

Look at the third item down.

For your second problem, whenever I have clients with Internet
connectivity problems, I always first check for viruses with a current
(post-2002 version using updated definitions) and then remove spyware.
Remove spyware with Spybot Search & Destroy from
www.safer-networking.org and Ad-aware from www.lavasoftusa.com. Be sure
to update these programs before running them. These programs are free,
so run them both since they complement each other. It is best to run
antivirus and spyware removal tools in Safe Mode.

After you're sure your computer is clean, see if the MSN games problem
persists. If it does, please repost for more help.

Thank you for your response. I have the Help and Support
Program problem fixed.

However, I cannot get the MSN Internet
Hearts/Spades/Reversi, etc., fixed. I have both Spybot
Search and Destroy and Ad-Aware. I've run both of them
and that hasn't fixed the problem. Don't know what else
to do. Thought perhaps it was at MSN's end(?)

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Cheri

I'm glad the Help thing is fixed. Sorry, since I don't play MSN games, I
can't really help you there. I'd look on MSN's site for tech support or
user forums.

Good luck,
