"Help and Support" link on start menu (WinXP) not working!

I've fresh installed a Windows XP Professional copy on my
computer, and after a week of use or so, the link in the
Start Menu for "Help and Support" ceased to work.

This is a problem to me, since I used to consult the Help
files a lot, whenever something was going wrong.

If anyone can help me with this issue, I'd greatly
apreciate.

Thanks in advance!

Hello!

Go to Start/Run and type in: helpctr -regserver

Are all updates installed for XP,the same happened on my
computer,if all is up to date,go to control-panel,ADM.,
services,scroll down to windows installer,start,close
out ADM.then re-try opening HELP.

If you've run Toni Arts Easy Cleaner on your XP installation, and allowed it
to delete what it found in the registry, then your Help and Support will not
run. Easy Cleaner deletes the values of 2 necessary Registry keys. See my
web site, www.dougknox.com and go to the Windows XP section. Follow the
appropriate link for Fix Window XP Help. This small VB Script will repair
the damage done by Easy Cleaner. Note: other Registry cleaning programs
cause the same problem.
