Help and Support Error

When I try to go to the "Help and Support" option under the start menu, a
window pops up saying "Windows cannot open Help and Support because a system
service is not running. To fix this problem start the service named 'Help
and Support'. How can I start the service when it won't work?

Click on Start, Run and type services.msc Press Return. The services list
will popup. In the right hand column scroll down the list to find Help and
Support. Double click Help and Support and set the Startup Type to
Automatic. Hit the Start button and wait for the progress bar to finish it's
bit. Now try the Help and Support option on the Start Menu again.

When I went to the services.msc there was no file labled "support". Is there
any other way to get to this?

It's not labeled as Support, it's "Help and Support". Click on the Name tab
to put the Name field into Ascending alphebtical order and it should be down
the list in the H's (on my system it's directly under the "Fast User
Switching" service).

good luck.
