I'm having trouble with the Help and Support in Windows

hourglass comes up briefly but help will not run. i'm
not really sure how to approach this. any suggestions?

Hello!
Go to Start/Run and type in: helpctr -regserver
if it fails:-
Go to C:\Windows\inf\pchealth.inf. Right click and choose install.Keep
your original XP CD.

Note: The folder is hidden by default. Go to Start/Run and type in:
control folders. View: Show hidden files and folders and uncheck Hide
extensions for known file types.

Download and run the VBS file here:

http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/fixwinxphelp.htm

If you used a regcleaner such as Easycleaner this will fix the problem.
You can also put a shortcut to the file as I have in "System Tools" so you
can run it any time.
