Help and Support Center Index

I cannot open the index. I receive a message saying the file C:/ Windows/PC Health/Help Ctr/Indices/merged.hhk cannot be located. I was able to use the Index before, so where did it suddenly go and how do I retrieve it. I've tried everything suggested, but no luck. Is it permanently lost?
