Heelp! Microsoft access 2002 XP is not working anymore

On a workstation with windows 2000 + sp4, I have Office XP installed.
Starting from today, every day I am opening a Ms Access database, after
5-10 sec., it is displaying an error message like "Ms Access encountered a
problem and it needs to be closed." and it is asking me if I want Access to
repair and compact the database, and then to reopen it.
After repairing and compacting, it is doing the same thing.
I tried even to uninstall and to reinstall the MS Office (I creaned even the
registry records about MS Office after uninstalling ) and to install again
the Service pack 4, but it is doing the same.
Can you help me?

I think i'd try to create a new empty database and import all the objects
into it. It sounds like the mdb is suspect.

SJs posting about importing the objects into a new MDB is the first

It is an Access (or Windows) error , not an database error. It appears the
same error gor every database I open, even a blank one.
I created a new BLANK DATABASE and it gave me the error: "Microsoft Access
has encountered a problem and needs to close.We are sorry for the
inconvenience" and asks me if I want to repair the database and restart it.
Of course, when i do these things, it has no efect.

You may need to reinstall Access :-{(... sounds like the program
itself is corrupted.

What about some hardware problems? like a blocked cooler on the processor or a
mamory problem?
