Is there any way to speed up this game on vista? xp had a much better version.

I think the only way to speed it up a little is to turn off animations (Game -> Options -> uncheck "Display animations").

Can anyone tell me how to change my name in the game of Hearts in Vista? I
can choose the names of who I play against, but my name is E246N-s234 (or
some such thing). HELP! I just want to be ME!

I should use your windows user account name i believe. That name sounds like
it could be your computers name.

Right click my computer and select properties. Under the section Computer
name, domain and workgroup settings check what your computers name is. It
might what hearts is picking up.

I just played a game of hearts, it said "East shot the moon" when I looked
at the score, East had 0 this keeps happening. Any ideas anyone?

The scoring is adding 26 points to each of the other players. "Shooting the
moon" means that player has gathered all the point cards (a good thing),
therefore gets zero, avoiding receiving any scoring for that hand while each
opponent is receiving the maximum penalty points.
