I have a dell dimension with XP for Home with all updates installed. My
headphones will not work with any media player including Windows Media Player
V10. The headsets are new Bose Quiet comfort 2.

I found a message that says to change the playback to analog which I did but
it still does not work.

When I plug the headphones into the speaker jack in the back of the pc the
headhones work.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Sorry, but you'll need to ask in a newsgroup related to Windows XP, or else
ask Dell directly.

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional

They work for me on my computer. Make sure they are turned and you
don't have the volume turned down or muted somewhere on the computer and
make sure you use the speaker out on the computer not the line out at the CD
player.

Sorry. This is a newsgroup dedicated to questions about Access, the
database program in Office Professional. It appears your question may not
be related to these subjects. The Microsoft help system is not all that
clear and may have misdirected you here.

It is best to ask your questions in a newsgroup dedicated to the
subject of your question. You should find people better able to address
your problem there.

Note: It is always best to indicate the name and version of any
program(s) you may be using when asking a question and also indicate the
operating system (like Windows XP or 98) when you ask a question.
