Header/Footer in Table printout - Access 2000

For an exam I have to create some tables, populate them and then print out a
copy of the table. The default for printing from table view is the table
name at the top, along with the date, and at the bottom is page number.

Is there any way I can add something to this? For the exam I have to put
my name and other details at the foot of EVERYTHING I print out. I could
not find an option to view header/footer.

I know I can easily do all this in a report, but that is not what the
examiner is wanting. I would be grateful for any assistance.
Thanks.

Please have your instructor email us permission to do your exam for you.
Failing that, RYFM.

Reports are for printed results. Tables are just for storing data.

Hi, Trish.

If you haven't already, I think I would clarify this with your instructor.
To my knowledge, Access provides no control or printing table or query
information, or printing a form. Reports are for doing precisely what is
being asked--formatting output from your data tables. Asking you not to use
it seems counterintuitive.

You could, however, output the table to Word, where you can set up your
header & footer. (Tools, Office Links, PublishItWithWord).

Good luck.
Hope that helps.
