I hope I'm in the right group, apologies if not.
In a booklet, I want to put in a header and footer, but not for the title
page. How do I do this, Also as my boolet is A5, which I have made up of A4
landscape, how can I auto page x of y to appear on both left and right hand
sides of the page, but be page 16 of 20 and page 17 of 20 etc.
TIA
Stephen

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/BookletPrinting.htm for answers to
your questions about booklets. For information on headers and footers, see
http://home.earthlink.net/~wordfaqs/HeaderFooter.htm and
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/NumberingFrontMatter.htm. The short
answer to your question is that you need to check the box for "Different
first page" on the Layout tab of Page Setup and then leave the First Page
Header/Footer blank.
