HEADACHE!-- fatal errors?!?

Hi,

I just reformatted my computer. Windows MCE 2005 edition. I have all Windows
updates, mobo updates etc etc. However, I am running into tons of fatal
errors while re-downloading programs that I once had no problem with. This it
the first time it has happened to me* Programs such as Azureus, Java,
Pokerstars, AOL Instant Messenger are a most important ones to name... why do
i keep getting fatal errors that say invalid file, corrupted file or
something similar?? Im positive that these files do not contain viruses or
such... help please!!

Are you also running Antivirus, anti-spyware and some type of firewall? Did
you also re-install all the latest driver updates, include the chipset
drivers? Did you add/change any hardware (like RAM, video card or drives?)
A lot of these fatal errors happen with bad drivers, defective hardware and
spyware software.
