Eric

I recently upgraded my harddrive to a western digital 80
GB. The computer work fine as long as I don't turn it
off for a prolonged amount of time. When I turn it off
for a prolonged amout of time and start it up, I get the
windows logo but it then stops responding and I have to
do multiplt reboots to get into windows. Once windows has
loaded, I cand shutdown and restart without any
problems. Please HELP!!!!

Hello,

This might not work, but I used to have HUGE problems with my HDD. I
tried everything - nothing helped. Then, I bought new IDE/UltraATA
cables($2 a cable) and is solved everyting.

Good Luck.

Hi,

Open the chassis, make sure all connections of the IDE cables, power cables
are properly and firmly connected.

Also check all the connections of all internal devices, ram chips, etc.
