Hi

I have a HD 250 gb as the first on the IDE cable as slave. My primary is at
the end and is showing. The slave is not. It is formatted and it is in the
bios.
What is wrong with this?

Could you explain this a little better?

You have a 250 GB drive set as your primary drive on an IDE cable.
You have a unknown drive set as a secondary drive on the same IDE cable.
Placement on the IDE cable should not matter.
Both drives are formatted; both appear in your BIOS; but the secondary drive
does not show up in Windows.

Is this correct?

If so,
Check your slave drive to make sure your jumper settings are set for slave
mode.
Check your primary drive to make sure it is set for a master drive.
Check that you have the correct drivers for your slave drive.
