I just put together a new machine using an Asus p4p800 deluxe board
and an Antec case. Everything works great, but the front lights that
show that the machine is on and the light that indicates that the hard
drive is in use do not work.

The connectors are in the right position on the motherboard.

Any suggestions?

The positions are correct, but what about the polarity? Try reversing
the connectors if you have not already.

Unplug the connectors from the motherboard, turn them 180 degrees, plug
back in. In other words, flip the connectors over so the pins are
reversed from how you have it now.
