having trouble w/ saving and viewing pictures on my computer

I have to give a Power Point presentation this coming
weekend. I just got a new computer and Ive been saving
pictures off of the web for the presentation. When I try
to pull them up using Windows explorer, It won't let me
see the picture. All I get is "image not available", yet
if I pull the pictures up from the file and Email them, I
can see them just fine in the Email. How do I get them
to save so that I can see them and use them in Power
Point?
