Having trouble launching Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory

G

Guest

To whom it may concern,

I downloaded this game and i can’t get it to start. It tells me that OpenGL
subsystem could not load. I was told to update my driver (which is and Intel
82815) but when i went to do so from the Intel web site, it told me the one i
had was already up to date. I changed colour quality from 24 bit to 16 bit,
which helped a little - as one sign stoped popping up. I tried to adjust
screen resolution but it did nothing.
This is the error message it comes up with after i try to load it:

Hi Demichelemarco,

Lets run a diagnostic of your system to see if we can pinpoint the problem.

In order to Create a dxdiag.txt file: Click Start / Run / type: DXDIAG
Click the "Test" buttons in the Display, Sound, Music & Network Tabs;
Afterwards click the "Save All Information..." button in the bottom row.

Open the file and copy/paste everything up to this section in your reply:

Hi Demichelemarco,

I visited Intel's site as well, and couldn't find any more recent driver either.

Unfortunately, it appears as though Activision doesn't support that chipset.
According to their readme file, they didn't test the game on Intel chipsets:
http://games.activision.com/games/wolfenstein/enemyterritory/etfull_readme.htm

It might not help, but perhaps the version 1.02 patch could resolve this:
http://games.activision.com/games/wolfenstein/enemyterritory/102_readme.html
