Having Problems with Win 7 Drivers?

This may solve it for you:

Pre-partition the hard drive you're going to use for 7 into two
partitions in NTFS. Attach the hard drive as a slave on a current xp
system. Insert the Seven disk and when it auto starts the install quit
the install. Copy the entire dvd to the second partition on the newly
formatted slave drive. Right click on the setup.exe file and change the
properties to Vista compatibility mode. Reset the hd as master with the
jumper in the back and put back hd in the system. Reboot the computer
with a XP or 98 bootdisk and in dos change to drive d: Then type Setup
and it should take off into the Seven setup. Use c: as the drive to
install to.

Good advice. You really want to use Windows 7, Vista, or even XP. Those
are your best choices. If anyone in this group suggests Ubuntu, run the
other way and don't look back. Ubuntu is a pile of crap and will screw up
your computer.

Actually, the above advice won't work unless you already have Vista
installed and the "D" partition is in FAT32 so please disregard.

I'm quite happy with Ubuntu and it doesn't "screw up" a computer but,
then again, you're not famous for telling the truth.

The source I use is reliable. Your opinion, of course is not.
So hotshot, show us your "reliable" source. Some blog by some guy in
Morocco is not a reliable source.

So you just lied. You stated that you have a reliable source. You don't.
Anyone can google. I googled it earlier and the numbers were all over tha
map. They also stated that you can't get an accurate count. So therefore
you lied again. Typical.

So you are anonymous, we don't know your real name or where you live. You
state that you have two masters degrees yet you won't tell us in what.
Sounds like you are full of shit as usual.

You already told us that you fix computers for people in your area. Is that
one of your businesses? Sounds like it. You afraid to tell us the truth
even though you remain anonymous? What are you afraid of?

Again, you are full of shit.

I don't care if you believe me or not. Your opinion and beliefs will not
take a single one of my degrees away.

I don't brag. You asked and I answered. What I do and what degrees I
have are none of your business.

Snip nonsense.

Right - We will just ignore your bragging and treat it as pure bullshit. No
problem.

It says nothing about market share, which, of course, is 10 million and
growing while Windows is losing.

Alias

Sorry - You are fabricating numbers again. Maybe 100k and that is a
stretch.
