having problems with my link bar

Im currently designing my own personal website. So far so good. when I
created my nav bar or link bar I went into web component and selected the
link bars and then selected the bar with custom links. After that I named my
link bar and where it said add links I started adding my links. When it was
all said and done I shared the borders with the rest of my pages so I could
have that link bar on every page. Now when I select one link to get me to
another page i can still see the text label for the page well on 4 of my
pages when you click on the link and the text label disappears. Well it
doesnt actually disappear it turns the text black and i have a black
background... Does any of that make sense? I hope someone undersands my
jibberish. Just need to figure out why those 4 pages dont work properly.
