Having problems connecting to internet via adsl + router

HI,
I was working with two computers - Win Xp (sps 2) and Win Vista (Rc1 build
5600) with one modem (Adsl).
Untill yesterday I was working seperatly when I wanted to connect to
Internet I would swich the cable from computer to computer.
Both computers have IE7 browser.
Since I changed the configuration of the modem into router (eci 270pr) and
working with hub , Xp is working great , but I'm having problems surfing with
Vista.
I get ping in the command line but I can't get most of the web sites by the
browser - get message "Connecting..." but nothing else happends. I dont get
404. sites like google or youtube I can see but it takes relativly a lot of
time...

I would be happy to get advise ....

RC1, in my experience, has few bugs. Having said that, almost everything
about the network software is so buggy that I have given up using it. The
browsers (all) do not work, and access to the internet through a router
either hangs or only goes to connecting, then hangs. Over the last month I
have changed every block in every menu to no avail. Bummer.
