I bought a Hewlett-Packard computer about a year
ago, and a virus totally corrupted my windows files and I
was forced to format my hard disk and re-install my
Windows XP OS with my upgrade disk. Now Im getting a
problem with booting up Windows, I get an error message
saying "BOOT DISK FAILURE, PLEASE INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND
HIT ENTER". I realized that my OS will boot up if I have
my Windows XP in my CD tray, however. I do not understand
why this happens, I should be able to boot up my computer
without my upgrade CD in there. Somebody please help me
out. Thanks
