having problem with seach engine " THE PAGE CANNOT BE FOUND"

hi,
i have this little problem on my computer.
i'm connect to the intrenet, when i come to the main page
on msn home, lets just say i would like to search for
somthing , i put the thing i want in the search the web
bar. i get " the page Cannot be displayed". i don't
know what i did wrong. i'm not sure if i changed some
setting or what . can someone help please. the funny
thing is when i go to my favorites and clink the site i
want it displays fine , another thing i use to use
google.com to search for thing, that don't work either.
when i go to wwww.google.com the page displays " there
is no website congigured at this address". i checked
with my friends and that site is working fine. please
someone help, please post help as soon as possible, or
can you please e-mail me at (e-mail address removed).

Sounds like your computer is infected with the QHosts Trojan (virus). See http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_100719.htm, http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/trojan.qhosts.html, or other major antivirus web sites for details. You need to update your anti-virus program and run a complete system scan. There are also downloadable stand-alone cleaner tools for this, such as http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/trojan.qhosts.removal.tool.html from Symantec web site.
