Have to restart Mail everytime I want to send and Receiver

Windows mail works fine for one time when I hit send receive button after
first opening the program. If I hit the send receive button again it gives
error message but no details. If I close windows mail and reopens works fine
for one more time.
I never had this happen before.

Which antivirus are you running? Some of them are not fully compatible
with Windows Mail.

I have the same problem. i have been using windows mail since june 2007 and
then in the last month i cant send anymore. maybe one email. then i have to
shut the whole thing down and start over. even then sometimes nothing
happens.
 
i have the same problem happening with sending email via windows mail. i use
webroot/trend micro antivirus. i have had all of this the same since june
07-- then int he last month i can not send email
 
Both Trend Micro antivirus and Webroot Spy Sweeper have been known to cause this
problem with Windows Mail. I suggest that you first disable any interaction that
these two programs have with email. If no improvement, uninstall them one at a time
until you find the culprit.
