A problem with Outlook 2002 recently started. Every morning after I turn on
the computer for the for the day I have to reset my e-mail settings. User
name shows: my user name/mail.comcast.net rather than just my user name. Also
incoming mail server says localhost rather than mail.comcast.net. Can any one
tell me how to correct this problem. Thanks

Then don't bother to configure your anti-virus program to scan your
e-mails. Your anti-virus program you are using is inserting itself as a
proxy to which your e-mail client will connect (so your e-mail client
has to specify in the username field as to where this anti-virus proxy
will connect).
