Have to Ctrl+Alt+Del to end

Hello,

I have one particular machine on my network that is giving
me fits with Access 97. We run a database where many users
frequently are in the system. On one particular form, this
machine (and user) access a record, update information,
and try to save.

When the save occurs, a message is displayed saying it
cannot save because user (username) has locked this
(whatever the rest it says). We then hit the OK button and
then it displays a message stating something like "Unable
to save operation" and then we hit OK and then a message
displays saying "Out of Memory". Whenever we try to close
out of the form or Access we keep going through that cycle.

The only way we can see to get out is to Ctrl+Alt+Del and
end the program.

Any ideas??????????????????????

Are you hitting the save button? Don't. It's not
necessary, and Access will think you're trying to save a
design change on the form, which could include filtering
the data through the form; if anybody else has the
database open, you can't save design changes. Just move
to a different record.
