have problem to install windows xp home edition

mainboard matsonic ms9087c cpu p4 2.8 ht
ram pc3200 512mb
vedio card fx55oo 256mb ddr
hd maxtor 120 gb
dvd writer

try to install windows xp in normal method, in the stage
show copying file, and progress into under 20%, it
restart and give me that message
HIT ANY KEY TO BOOT FROM CD.....
NTLDR IS MISSING

please help

ghz processor and my computer restarts when i put in the window cd p
