have downloaded 2 converters for 2007-2003 but still can'y read fi

I have updated all Microsoft priority updates, downloaded the recommended
converters but must have misses something because I still cannot read files
created in a trial version of 2007. What am I doing wrong? My previous
version was Office/Wors 2003. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds as though you are dealing with files that were created with the
original beta version. I don't know what can be done if that's the case.
