Have both Outlook Express & Outlook 2000 loaded

Up to a few days ago I was using Outlook Express. Having
difficulty sending messages so decided to use OL2000.
When I connect using the shortcut to my server it
automatically opens Outlook Express as well as Internet
Explorer. Messages start downloading immediately to
Express. I want to only use one programme so everythings
in one place, and I prefer Outlook 2000 because of the
contacts and calender facility. Any suggestions?

Set it as the default mail client in Control Panel-> Internet Options-> tab

Delete the mail account in Outlook Express.
