Last night my pc failed and I had to reinstall Windows XP Pro on it. I lost
all programs including Office 2003 I had to go back to Office 2002 and I
have a pst file from my outlook 2003 that I would love to import into my
outlook 2002.

Is it possible? I keep getting file is not compatible with this version.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks

Tom

It is not possible. You can only open that file in Outlook 2003 or 2007,
where you could then transfer it to a PST file that is created in the older
"Outlook 97-2002" format.
FWIW, importing is never the correct way to transfer Outlook data.

Thanks
Thats what I thought I read a lot about this and got the same results.

I wish I new someone who had outlook 2003 or 2007

I need the contact info out of this pst file..

Just curious. Why were you able to use Outlook 2003 before but now can't?
Seems to be the root of your problem.

The computer had OPffice 2003 installed but we did not have the Office 2003
CD any more.

I wish there was a utility to open the pst file and look at the info.

Still looking for someone who has outlook 2003

Thanks
