I am now getting an error on reboot that says "stopped working and was
closed" it does not tell me what..

Windows Vista Ultimate, ßeta nvidia drivers installed. (this started before
these drivers were installed). I was running the release drivers 100.65,
but these would not allow the computer to go into power management, and
didn't work (correctly on my setup) with FSX either, so I removed them and
installed the ßeta drivers 101.41 (haven't tried FSX yet) -btw, the video
card is a 7900GTX.

About 5 minutes after the system has been up & running, I get another error,
this time it says CNDNDlg ( I think that 6th character is a 'I") stopped
working and was closed. I do not see anything that closed right off hand
and the machine seems to run normally
I goggled it and it found nothing. Also nothing in the MS knowledge base,
(at least I couldn't find anything)

The only other additions were Snappy Fax and FS2004. Snappy Fax is working
and FS2004 isn't loaded, or at least I am not running it.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I use FSX and FS2004 with the nVidia 8800GTS on an AMD 939 socket dual core.
If you need help getting either version of FS to run send me an email. I
have them both running very nicely. I also use the nVidia beta drivers, with
very few problems.

I must not have spelled it correctly or something as you have shown me it is
there and it is something Canon is doing. Now I have to figure out if it's
the camera software or the scanner software. I'm thinking scanner software
and it's hooked up all the time and the camera is not, but that just a
guess. I am sure Canon will be very helpful when I show this to them. NOT!

Thanks.

...Chip..
For better or worse, we're
running Windows Vista

If I had to guess it would be the device/software of the device, that is
continuously connected. I'm sure you're right about Canon. I'm pretty sure
they will act pretty much just like every other company and blame it on
something else (in this case probably vista).

Reading more I found out it was the camera software and removed it all.
That error is gone. I will now reinstall and maybe this time it will work
correctly.
