Internet Explorer has stopped working message

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close
the program and notify you if a solution is available.

Running Vista Ultimate build 6000

Happens on many sites but especially ms office when I try to download
anything. Only problem I am having is with the audio. no driver loads so I
have disabled audio on motherboard itmt.

Try using this MSKB that solved many of these type of problems for XP, and
one of the .dlls will not rereg in Vista (even though you are not getting a
blank white page):

In addition, you could/ and should try using SFC:

Right click command on start menu>run as admin>type at command prompt:

sfc /scannow
