my screen was flipped 180 degrees and i finally got it back to normal by
changing the rotation setting in the Graphics settings, but my question
is how it got flipped in the first place, neither my sister or I
changed it- is there a problem with my harware or something? i don't
know a lot about computers, so maybe you would know the answer or have
an ideas as to why this happened. Its a brand new computer (about 3
weeks old)and im contemplating wheter i should take it in or back or
something. thanks

Hi, you might have "hotkeys" turned on via your graphics card settings and
inadvertantly hit a combination of keys that rotated the screen.
This hotkey funtion is really not needed (I have mine shut off) look in your
display settings for any referance to it or you should find it in the
startup tab in msconfig.
P.S. the entries in msconfig may be alittle hard to understand google the
entries until you find the one you are looking for.

Right click the desktop.
Click Properties > Settings tab > Advanced button.
Click the tab related to your graphics adapter/chip.
Have a look through the different tabs, name list or buttons for rotation
configuration and disable it.
Apply > Ok out.
