When i start my laptop. it reads
Stop: Error C0000218{Registry File Failure}
The system cannot load the file hive.
C:/windows/system32/config/............
It is either abnormal, corrupted or damaged.
I think the problem is about Registry SAM.
All the time this error is displayed when i start my laptop. I have Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. It's an HP laptop.
I performed the hardware test in BIOS but it is positive. I tried the recovery console but the CD isn't booting. When i tried to install another operating system from another CD,the CD boots and the data is loaded, but when i select the option to install fresh operating system, it says that the system did not detect any hard drive partition and the setup cannot continue.
