Has anyone here got any amusing stories about destroying their hardware (of course, I'm sure they weren't funny at the time!).
I've just spoken to a friend who upgraded his CPU (Sempron) and forgot to attach the heatsink. Amazingly, it still works - even thought his PC must have been on for a good few minutes on a blank screen (still powered I assume).
