I noticed that when you go into device manager on windows
2000, hardware is listed that is not installed on your PC.
For example, if you go to the scsi and raid controller
section, it list several different controllers and ALL of
these can't be on my computer.

How can you find out exactly which scsi or raid card is
installed on your PC with out opening it up??

Watch the POST screen when the PC boots is one way. Looking at the
"controllers" that are NOT displaying an error is annother. Load up and
run AIDA32(www.google.com and search).

Thanks

This gives you some info but the POST doesnt'tell you the
exact model. Any other ideas
