hardrive crash-I need a copy of excell that used to be installed

I had to pay someone to reinstall my operating system and I lost my copy of
excell. How do I get a copy of excell that was installed on my gateway laptop
when it was purchased. There are some disks in the original shipping box,
however, none are excell related
 
Legally, you'd need either your original product key code and another
individual's disk to install, or hopefully one of the disks included in your
box is actually Microsoft office, which would include XL.
 
I currently have thus same problem(lost all my Office 2003 apps) and can find
no disks or key codes. Can Microsoft help? How was your problem resolved?
Please Help.
 
I had same problem(lost all Office 2003 apps reinstalling XP). How did you
resolve your problem? I also have no disks or key codes. Doesn't Microsoft
have a data base of registered users?
 
With no disks or key codes what proof can you actually provide that you
owned the Office programs? You have a sales receipt?
