harddisk crash on some day on us?

Perfect disk 6.0 or spinrite 5.0 ?
As nowadays, many people using bt torrent, that might
crash hard disk eventually..
also, is it safer for people using winxp that will
provide larger cache size for hard disk?

Yes, the cost was debated, I've forgotten the cost Steve quoted, but it was
very reasonable.
I've since deleted the messages from the newsgroup, it's news.grc.com, the
security or the news.feedback group if I remember correctly.

Any idea on cost? Hopefully there will be an upgrade price.
