OS : WinXP SP 2

Hello,

For the past two days, I have try to delete a folder in different ways. But
all applications that I used crash.

- Windows Explorer :
Access the folder that I want to delete, Explorer crash. I can access all of
the folders exept a verify specific one.

- Command prompt :
I was able to delete some files in the folder, but when I try DEL or RMDIR
my cmd prompt closes

I try to DIR /x the folder - CMD PROMPT CRASH
I was able to use attrib -h on *.db and *.ini then I was able to del them

- What I did
I have use the chkdsk to verify my disk - It's healthy.
I defrag my disk
I Check for virus with two - nothing was found
I rename the folder - OK rename was accepted

- Conclusion :
I still can't delete the folder and I need help.

Any suggestion on how to procede

You Know Who ~

it is possible that windows needs the folder, though it also could have a
name too long enough for windows to use. You haven't said what the folder
is...

Yes I have, Safe mode command prompt.

It did not work then. I had a file that corrupted the folder.

Upon searching google on my issue, I found an old DOS cmd that worked very
good.

My issue was resolved.

Thanks for asking
