Wrong newsgroup really for this question. This is for questions regarding
the USE of Access.
However, Office installs a bunch of stuff that by default starts-up when the
computer does.
Not exactly sure where you turn it all off, but you could look in
ProgramFiles -> Startup, in Office Setup, and in the startup section of the
Registry

Hopefully, someone will be able to suggest a better NG for this question.

Cheers,

Chris.

There's a utility you can use to view and optionally disable programs that
are started automatically. Click the Windows 'Start' button, choose 'Run'
and enter 'msconfig'. In the resulting 'System Configuration Utility'
dialog, choose the 'Startup' tab.

You'll probably find an item in that list called 'Office Startup'. You can
try un-checking it. That may resolve your problem. However, I can't say what
that will do to the normal behaviour of Office when you do want to use
Office. You might want to ask in the Office Setup newsgroup
(microsoft.public.office.setup) about that. You'll find it using the
web-based interface at the following URL ...
