I have win xp pro on my old 20 gb hard drive. I have exchanged it for a new
80 GB one. I want to get the xp pro from one to the other. but it is
password protected, but I have forgotten the password help please?. If I
make the old one a slave ,can I then copy it across to new drive. without
the password. and how do I do this...Or will I simply carry the problem over
to the new drive??? Thank you anyone....

You will have to install XP afresh to your new drive as well as all
your other software you cannot just copy XP over to the new drive (you
can use programs such as Ghost to do this but that costs $$).

Make sure you have your Product Key and any driver disks that came with
the machine.
