It was sugested that Acronis software may image a full backup drive to an
external unit for emergency/recovory-reboot. I think Acronis mentions about
backing up in a "INCD" thing ...
What is INCD? Do I have to reconfigure something to "INCD" mode?

It is packet writing software that comes with Nero Burning ROM.

INCD is Nero's version, and Drag-to-Disk is Roxio's version. What
Trueimage requires is that you format (or erase) your disk using one of
these products before asking TI to use it for your backup. If I
remember correctly, for RW disks this does not have to be redone if TI
was the last application to write to the disk.
