Hard drive Wipe

I am running a dual boot system with windows 98 and
windows XP. Each are on seperate hard drives. The XP side
is so messed up I would like to wipe out all files and
information on that particular hard drive and start from
scratch. Can this be done and how?

Boot the computer with the xp cd in the cd drive(to boot to the cd), then
follow the on screen instructions.
