Hi all,
Wondered if someone can help.
My hard drive is a 4.3gb but the computer (running
windows98) is reading it as a 2gb capacity.
Do i need to alter some settings or download some drivers
or something to correct this.
Many Thanks

No drivers needed but your disk needs to be running the fat32 file system to
get over the 2gig barrier.

I agree with JUSTME but I don't think WinXP can runs under FAT16. Use Partiton Magic or other partition tool to convert your file system to FAT32. I suggest you convert to NTFS for safety and performance. OR, you have a hidden partition or unallocated space. Use the Partition tools to solve this problem, read the help feature provided with

Sorry, i didn't read that you're using Win98. Of course Win98 can runs under FAT16. Yeah! Use the partition Magic to convert it, sorry for this mistake
