Hi,

I want ot scrub my c drive and am wondering if it is possible to do it in
this fashion:

I have 2 hard drives in my computer. My c is a 120 GB and that is where
Windows is loaded now. I have a D drive that is 40 GB and is empty. I
would like to load Windows XP home on the D and fix it so that the computer
boots to that one, shift over my data to the new environment, reformat the
c: and then reload xp onto the c drive and move everything back.. Can this
be done? How do I restructure it so that it boots fromt he D not the c?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Why not just move your data to the formatted (but not O/S installed) D drive
and then just re-format and re-install Windows on C?

No need to install Windows twice and move data twice.

You set the boot sequence in yr BIOS, generally hit 'Del' as sys is booting,
to access.
By data I'm assuming you mean yr data files and not Apps
If so why not move yr data files to D then Format & reinstall Win & Apps on
C
Ensure any Apps point to yr new data location.
I like to keep my data seperate from my Win disk, saves agg.when formating
