Let me first explain my system and the problem I have.
I have 6 hard drives in my system which has been working perfectly.The
problem started when I swapped one of my 20 gig hard drives for a 160 gad
hard drive. The 20 gig hard drive was connected to a 2 channel ultra ata
controller.When I removed the 20gig slave hard drive and replaced it with a
160gig slave hard drive, windows will not start.
The drive shows up in post but the system just hangs after post.
I then tried to put things back as they were by replacing the 20 gig, but I
still have the same problem.
I can get windows to start if i remove the drives connected to the dma
controller, but whatever I try i can not get my 4 hard drives up and
running.
